“To be clear, Lisa (Whitney) represented the seller. My son was the buyer. That being said, if it wasn't for Lisa's professionalism and attention to detail, this transaction would have been much more challenging. Lisa did a fantastic job in making sure that the seller addressed those issues brought up during inspection and provided a punch list of those items needing addressing and then had them completed. In all of the houses I've been involved in purchasing over the years, Lisa was by far the most competent broker (seller or buyer) I've ever had the pleasure of working with. “I had met and really liked Lisa Whitney several times on a social level and had a friend who had worked with her on a condo purchase. We were struggling to sell our antique home so reached out to Lisa first for advice and after that, had no hesitation in selecting her as our broker. Our home was on the market from March to September with another company, with relatively little interest in it considering it was the spring market and the house was in very good condition. We had one offer that was accepted but then fell through. After six months we chose not to renew our contract with our original company and reached out to Lisa. She was outstanding from start to finish and refuelled our flagging confidence. The whole atmosphere changed and after three months we had two offers at the asking price between Thanksgiving and Christmas which resulted in a very happy and successful closing in February. Because of this we were able to buy a most exciting home near our children and grandchildren in Connecticut. My only regret is that we didn’t reach out to Lisa at the very start of this journey. She is fantastic! Lisa made what could have been a very stressful few months easy, optimistic and almost fun!”
